Nutrition & Lifestyle Support

															More Than Just Medication
At PrecisionMD Wellness and Weight Loss, we know weight loss is more than prescriptions. Medications like Wegovy, Zepbound, or Contrave can help address biology — but lasting results come from building better nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress habits.
That’s why every patient at PrecisionMD receives access to a self-guided digital platform filled with practical resources, and when needed, we connect to one of our trusted registered dietitians often covered by insurance. Together, this support gives you both flexibility and personalized care without the high cost of traditional coaching programs.

															How We Support Your Lifestyle
- Practical — with meal planning tips, grocery lists, portion guides, and recipes
- Flexible — available anytime, so you can use it on your schedule
- Motivating — includes goal-tracking and habit-building exercises to keep you accountable
It’s not another “fad diet app” — it’s a clinically designed resource that works alongside your medical plan, giving you the daily structure to succeed.
Sometimes, patients want or need more personalized guidance. That’s where our partnership with our trusted registered dietitians comes in. The services are often covered by insurance. This means:
- Personalized meal plans tailored to your preferences and medical needs
- Condition-specific guidance (like PCOS, diabetes, or cholesterol management)
- Ongoing support from a nutrition expert at little or no out-of-pocket cost
It’s not another “fad diet app” — it’s a clinically designed resource that works alongside your medical plan, giving you the daily structure to succeed.
- Movement — setting realistic activity goals that fit your life (no gym required)
- Sleep — strategies to improve rest and restore hormone balance
- Stress — simple tools to reduce stress and break cycles of emotional eating
Our role is to provide medical guidance and practical strategies for sleep, movement, and stress — and to connect you with trusted specialists when more focused support is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

					 Do you provide meal plans?

No — we don’t hand out rigid meal plans because they rarely work long-term. Following a strict list of “eat this, not that” may help for a short period, but most people find it difficult to sustain. Instead, we focus on helping you build flexible, healthy habits that fit into your real life.
That said, if you like the structure of meal plans, you do have options. Our self-guided platform includes sample meal planning tools, and if you want something more personalized, we can connect you with a registered dietitian through Nourish who can create a customized meal plan for you. Many insurance plans even cover dietitian visits at little or no cost.
Do I have to follow a specific diet?

No. At PrecisionMD, we don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” diets. Instead, we emphasize:
- Eating enough protein to protect your muscle mass
- Getting plenty of fiber for satiety and gut health
- Staying hydrated with adequate water intake
- Choosing whole, minimally processed foods most of the time
The goal is balanced nutrition that supports long-term health and weight maintenance — not a restrictive or short-term plan.
What about exercise? Do I have to go to the gym?

We don’t prescribe a specific exercise routine, and you don’t need to become a gym rat to succeed. What we do encourage is building up to the recommended 150–300 minutes of activity per week, since regular movement is one of the best ways to keep weight off long-term. We also emphasize maintaining and building muscle, ideally with resistance training at least twice a week — but that can be done at home, in a gym, or wherever it fits your lifestyle.
Do I need supplements to succeed?

Not necessarily. Most people can meet their needs with food, but sometimes supplements can help fill gaps. For example:
- Protein shakes can make it easier to reach daily protein goals.
- Fiber supplements may help if you struggle to get enough from food.
- Vitamin D, B12, or iron may be recommended if lab testing shows a deficiency.
At PrecisionMD, we’ll review your labs and nutrition habits to help decide if supplements are necessary for you.
